The issue

HELP, the workers at Broadmeadows and Goonyella riverside, get the food they deserve.

Eureka Creek Camp in Moranbah provides accommodation for many hardworking individuals who dedicate their time and energy to work in this region. Unfortunately, the quality of food provided at the camp leaves much to be desired. Workers have reported that the meals served are nearly inedible, which not only impacts their health and well-being but also affects their productivity and morale.

Workers are also now resorting to bringing food to work from home with them, the food has gotten that inedible, meaning they now have an added expense to their 7days/nights on.

Moranbah, located in Queensland, Australia, is a community largely built around the mining industry. The workers staying at Eureka Creek Camp are vital to maintaining the productivity and efficiency of the operations in this area. Providing high-quality meals should be a priority to ensure their health, safety, and happiness.

Subpar food quality not only poses health risks but also undermines the respect and support these workers deserve. Good nutrition is essential for maintaining concentration and energy levels, which are crucial for the demanding tasks they perform daily. When workers are well-fed, they are healthier, more productive, and better equipped to handle their responsibilities.

We call upon the management of Eureka Creek Camp and BMA to take immediate action by consulting with nutritionists and hiring experienced chefs to improve the meal offerings. Investing in better ingredients and providing a varied menu can significantly enhance the dining experience. It is a fundamental right of these workers to have access to nutritious and satisfying meals.

By signing this petition, you are supporting the call for improved food quality at Eureka Creek Camp, ensuring that the workers receive the respect and living conditions they deserve. Better food leads to healthier, happier, and more effective workers, and it is time for this change to happen. Please sign this petition to advocate for the well-being and rights of the workforce in Moranbah.
