For our dedicated group of fitness enthusiasts who regularly use our Gold's Gym at Bradlick Shopping Center, in Annandale Va. We love the gym, as is close-by,  however we find ourselves grappling with issues that seriously hinder our workout routines.

At the Annandale Gold’s Gym, some the work-out equipment does not function properly, especially the treadmills.  This becomes an serious issue during peak hours. Also, the lower weight dumbbells have big chips missing out of them, and the gym itself has no music. Similarly, my personal biggest issue with this gym, after joining 18 years ago, is the same excuse with the air conditioning system every summer. The air conditioning system continuously stops working, and it gets over 80 degrees in there on those crazy hot summer days . My personal opinion, on Sundays, they turn it down absolutely intentionally. Repeatedly, that is the hottest day of all. I’m sure it cost a small fortune to run that massive air conditioning system in the summertime. Why else would they cut it off. It is an oven in there. The Gold’s gyms in Fairfax, Arlington, etc., are like being at the North Pole.

The front desk staff gives you the same story every time… Oh, it’s being worked on.(☹) I’m sure that’s exactly what they’ve been told. After all these years, it gets old.

The poor state of the facilities is not just problematic but also increasingly counterproductive for its members.  To continue serving us successfully, our local Gold's Gym needs to upgrade its equipment, remove broken machines, and improve the overall condition of the facility, specifically the air conditioning system.
