Daily Update: |August 1, 2023|

State Senate Candidate , Jolicia Ward and Delegate Candidate, John Smith; both came out to evaluate the science of the accident. I was able to point how the flooding affects all the loose gravel on the side of the road. It’s a dry day in the photo, however, I have taken photos from the next day of a hard rainy day, to show all the gravel that gets pushed onto the hard,  paved road surface. They both verified that this is definitely the area in the videos and photos I have taken. Jolicia Ward and John Smith both have evaluated this road (Route 202, right after you pass the Buoy Store in Kinsale, VA , headed in the direction of Callao, CA. Both candidates says the road is infrastructure. Jolicia and John both also believes there should be a slippery while wet and reduce speed sign there until the road is repaired, of it’s drainage problems. Jolicia and John both believe that there should be some federal funding provided to the local community to help with infrastructure of all bad road conditions. Roads like this create hazardous driving conditions.

Also Here’s a Reminder of Last Week’s Update:

Daily Update: |Thursday, June 27, 2023| VDOT just called me and told me that the Northern Neck News team has contacted them about my petition and the local VDOT says they have submitted the drainage problem to their regional supervisor to come up with a plan for repair. However we do not claim victory yet, for this is still only the beginning.
