Petition updateImported Honey to be banned ...Don’t buy Burtsbees.

Don't buy burtsbees cosmetics.

I am writing to ask that Burts Bee speak out against neonicotinoid pesticides.

Using the iconic image of Burt Shavitz is a highly effective way to advertise to conscious consumers. After all, who doesn’t love the story, and the man, behind burtsbees

A man who, until his recent death, lived a simple life, close to nature?

But using that image to support companies like Bayer Monsanto and Syngenta, whose toxic neonicotinoid poisons are responsible for the mass die-off of the honeybees and indigenous , is downright blasphemous.

The Pollinator Partnership, and Bayer’s Bee Care Centers, are nothing more than public relations ploys, aimed at deceiving consumers. But I am not fooled. I know what the Pollinator Partnership’s real mission is: to protect neonics and profits, not bees.

Burt's Bees was affiliated with the Pollinator Partnership in 2016 . The parent company since 2007 is chemical company Clorox .

Clorox (Burtsbees) you do bees a disservice by participating in this mass propaganda campaign. A company like Burt’s Bees shouldn’t be in bed with the likes of Bayer, Monsanto and Syngenta.

Please make a meaningful commitment to protecting bees and other pollinators, by speaking out against the continued use of neonics, and by asking Governments to ban these toxic chemicals before it’s too late.

If we want to save the bees we need to support local businesses that actually save bees.

You can buy pristine 100 percent beeswax products including balms and candles direct from Emily. 1$ from every purchase will go to savethebeesaustralia to continued our campaign against pesticide abuse and honey laundering.

Emily runs a wonderful little business called Embodybee. With her small business, Emily  educates children and adults alike guiding people toward natural beekeeping methods, keep bees, sells bee products, uses a healing modality using products from the hive called apitherapy, safely rehomes bees, and runs creative bee-oriented workshops.

For Emily, beekeeping is much more than a way to procure honey, or even a way to help the planet; for her, bees are sacred beings, connected intrinsically to love and watch in awe as they pollinate the earth.

She lives in the beautiful small town of Eskdale in the Mitta Mitta Valley in Victoria with her beautiful 2 year old daughter, Olive. Emily is slowly planting out an abundance of flowers, collecting intriguing bee hives from around the world and renovating a honey lovers cottage as a bnb.
