

Unknown attackers have destroyed a apiary of 70 beehives, dousing them with a petrol-like chemical.

A fifth-generation farmer from the region said similar incidents have occurred in the area for decades.
The NSW Apiarist Association is working to minimise attacks in the area
Police are investigating the attack which killed hundreds of thousands of bees in the Nana Creek State Forest, northwest of Coffs Harbour, in March.
Police believe it was a deliberate attack but the investigation is ongoing.
The apiarist who discotvered the destruction and reported it straight away was said to be devastated.
