The residents in our neighborhood are in need of street lighting in and around 195th and Jann Court. This area has been left in darkness for too long, causing safety concerns for pedestrians and drivers alike. According to the National Safety Council, well-lit streets can reduce accidents by up to 50% (National Safety Council). Furthermore, the American Medical Association states that proper street lighting can deter crime (American Medical Association). By adding street lights to this intersection, we can enhance safety and security for our community members. We call on Pacific Gas & Electric (PGE) to address this issue promptly.
