As a concerned parent residing in Mount Pleasant, SC, USA, I am deeply troubled by the lack of safety measures at the circle between Carolina Park Blvd and Park Ave Blvd. This petition aims to address the urgent need for lighted crosswalk signals that will alert drivers of children crossing the street.

Personal Story:
This petition is personal to me because just recently, while crossing this road with my daughter, we had a terrifying encounter with a speeding truck that nearly struck us. It was an alarming experience that made me realize how dangerous crossing this circle truly is for our children. The current situation puts their lives at risk every day as they have to navigate three lanes of traffic on their way to school.
