Smoking indoors is currently restricted in many areas across the US. However, cigar bars present an exception to this rule, allowing patrons a legal space to enjoy smoking. There are limited numbers of these cigar bars, causing inconvenience for cigar enthusiasts. Studies have found that cigar bars do not significantly contribute to the overall indoor air pollution when fitted with efficient ventilation systems (Source: American Nonsmokers' Rights Foundation). We believe increasing the number of cigar bars could offer a legal and controlled environment for indoor smoking, promoting choice for all citizens while upholding relevant restrictions. Furthermore, this could potentially boost local economies by creating jobs and adding variety to nightlife options.
