My name is Collab, and I have a personal experience that has shaped my call for change today. Following a distressing event where the lack of security measures enabled a crime to occur, I have understood the crucial importance of CCTV in helping to prevent or solve crimes.

CCTV usage is not just beneficial for me, it's beneficial for everyone. Around the world, these cameras have proven to be an effective deterrent, helping to reduce crime rates. According to a survey by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), approximately one camera is installed for every 14 people in the UK, a ratio effectively helping to manage crime rates. Without these devices, we risk security breaches and increased crime rates.

As such, I implore you to support this call for mandatory measures ensuring the installation of CCTV in all relevant and necessary public and private locations. We cannot allow ourselves, or future generations, to be vulnerable when there are preventative measures available. Please, sign this petition and let's foster a safer environment for everyone.
