I, like many others, struggle to enjoy the loud sound of fireworks. The noise is not only a personal discomfort but also a significant issue for our environment, animals, people with disabilities, and the elderly who often cannot cope with the intense noise. It's time we consider this and make a change.

Fireworks are indeed beautiful and have been part of our celebrations for centuries. However, their loud explosions cause distress to many individuals and animals alike. According to studies by RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), 45% of dogs in the UK show signs of fear when they hear fireworks.

Moreover, people with sensory sensitivities or disorders such as Autism can find these noises overwhelming and distressing. The elderly population too often suffers from various health issues that can be aggravated by sudden loud noises.

The environmental impact is also significant; air pollution spikes dramatically during major firework events contributing negatively towards climate change.

Therefore, we urge lawmakers to implement legislation that allows only silent fireworks. This change will ensure everyone can enjoy these beautiful displays without causing unnecessary stress or harm to individuals or our environment.
