Delhi NCR has been grappling with hazardous levels of air pollution for years now.

IQAir publishes the Global Air Quality Report annually, covering the world's most polluted cities. No city in India meets WHO air quality guidelines. India's capital, Delhi, ranks 4th in the 2023 World Air Quality Report. According to IQAir, Delhi is one of the three most polluted cities in the world.

This alarming situation calls for immediate action.

We urge authorities to implement measures such as artificial rain and provide incentives to farmers for regenerative agriculture practices that can help reduce stubble burning - one of the major contributors to air pollution in our region.

By adopting these measures, we can significantly reduce harmful pollutants in our atmosphere and improve public health outcomes. We owe it not only to ourselves but also future generations who deserve clean air.
