I am a frequent customer of 7-Eleven, and like many others, I enjoy their slushies. However, I've noticed an issue that affects not only me but also our environment and those in need. Every time we finish a slushy, we throw away the paper cup it came in. These cups often aren't reused enough which contributes to waste and isn't good for the environment.

Moreover, there are instances where someone might not be sated after finishing their slushy or if they find themselves lost without enough money to buy another one. In such cases, being able to refill their cup for free could be a lifesaver by quenching their thirst.

The solution is simple - make slushy refills free at 7-Eleven if you have a branded cup and lid brought from home or after when you finish a slushy you bought. This will encourage customers to reuse cups thereby reducing waste while providing an option for those who might need it.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), containers and packaging make up about 23% of landfill material in the United States (EPA). By promoting reusable cups through this initiative, we can help reduce this percentage significantly.
