Implement Fines on Companies Permitting Bully-Management Practices

Implement Fines on Companies Permitting Bully-Management Practices
The Issue
I am a concerned citizen from Missouri, deeply affected by the ravages of bully-management in our companies. Each day, we learn of another life adversely impacted by this harmful management style. Indeed, there have been cases resulting in suicides, public shootings, and severe mental health conditions. It is high time we demand accountability from companies promoting or allowing these damaging practices.
It's crucial to shed light on the breadth of the problem; over one third of U.S. employees have experienced workplace bullying at some point in their careers, according to the Workplace Bullying Institute. Bully-management not only hurts employees on a personal level, but it also negatively impacts our society.
We believe that companies found guilty of perpetuating bully-management must be fined for their irresponsible behavior. However, the penalties issued should not simply disappear into government coffers. Rather, these monies must directly compensate victims and their communities. Therefore, our petition proposes that all funds generated from these fines be allocated to non-profit organizations. These organizations can then decrease the costs of mental health and support services, enabling access to those most in need, including those unable to afford these necessary treatments.
Together, we can foster a more compassionate, understanding, and positive work environment for everyone. Please sign our petition to hold companies responsible for their contributions to harmful bully-management practices in Missouri, thereby promoting healthier workplaces.
