As residents of Park of River Oaks Association #2, we've seen firsthand the consequences of unchecked power within our association board. We've experienced members who have continuously served on the board, making or being part of decisions that have cost us homeowners an exorbitant amount of money. It's time to put a stop to this cycle.

We propose a three-term limit for serving on these board. This will ensure fresh perspectives and prevent any single individual from holding too much influence over long periods. According to research by the National Conference on State Legislatures (NCSL), term limits can lead to increased diversity and more opportunities for new ideas.

The lack of term limits has allowed some board members to remain in power indefinitely, which has led to stagnation and poor decision-making that directly affects our wallets and our community's well-being. By implementing term limits, we can foster an environment that encourages innovation and accountability.
