As a concerned citizen witnessing the deteriorating social fabric of our nation, I am deeply moved to take action. Divisions are deepening, hostility is increasing, and we have, unfortunately, become the “Laughing stock" of the World. The very core of our society seems threatened as these distressing changes shatter, even personal relationships. All these developments lead to one question:  How     did we get here? 

The answer, in part, is the lack of standardized educational pathways for politicians, particularly those holding critical offices such as the President of the United States. Similar to professions like Physicians, Engineers, Attorneys, Teachers, Police etc who require formal education and ongoing certification, should not the same standard apply to those leading our Nation?

This petition calls for the implementation of mandatory education for politicians, where, one rises through the ranks based on merit, leading eventually to the Presidency. This education should encompass critical fields such as Military Sciences (ROTC/Navy/Air Force/Police), Law, diplomacy, as well as courses fostering non-partisanship, non-sectarianism, and confidentiality.

Implementing this policy will  provide individuals with the professional skills and knowledge necessary to lead, and foster a deep-rooted understanding of diverse perspectives and societal issues. It will build leaders who can rule with empathy, fairness, competency , and above all, a sense of UNITY

It's crucial for a modern, progressive nation to have qualified, well-educated leaders who are the direct products of a proven and rigorous system. Let us  provide the next generation of politicians with the guidance, knowledge, and qualifications they need to excel.
