I’m speaking on behalf of all dedicated and passionate members of our Iowa Fantasy Football League. Each yearly re-draft of our league forces us to start from scratch, stripping us of our hard-won players. Our commitment, shaped by blood, sweat, and tears, pushes us to seek a continuous improvement in our league. It is time for a change.

The shift to a keepers league policy starting this upcoming 24/25 season and beyond allows us to hold onto at least one significant player from our roster year after year. This small yet dramatic change not only adds a new layer of strategic depth to our league but also magnifies the excitement and dedication of each member. It emphasizes the importance of every draft pick, as we will be considering not just a player's worth for a single season, but their long-term value as well. 

Especially in a game where consistency is key, the difference one keeper can make is substantial. It's a common sentiment among fantasy football players worldwide, with 64% of leagues adopting a keepers system (Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association, 2019). It's time for us, the ardent members of the Iowa Fantasy Football League, to join that majority and intensify our league play.
