Amid the hustle of accomplishing their duties and managing laundry tasks, it has become strenuous for them to maintain an efficient work rhythm.
There's a clear imbalance in the staff allocation, resulting in more aides during weekends while having less hands-on-deck during weekdays. Let's take a step back and reassess the situation. Could we devise a weekly schedule where employees rotate between weekdays and weekends? According to a study conducted by the University of Pennsylvania, implementing fair work schedules can increase productivity by up to 13% (University of Pennsylvania, 2017).
Redistributing the staffing balance by adjusting work schedules would not only allow for personal rest and recovery, but also potentially enable all to be more effective in fulfilling their responsibilities.
