Bullying is a pervasive problem that affects many students across the country, and it's an issue that we're facing right here in our schools in

Temple TX. It's estimated that one out of every five students report being bullied (National Center for Educational Statistics, 2019). This means that there are potentially hundreds of children suffering from bullying in our community alone. Bullying can lead to numerous emotional and physical problems and can affect a child's ability to learn. We believe it is time for our school district to take decisive action by implementing a comprehensive anti-bullying policy.

This policy should include clear definitions of what constitutes bullying, procedures for reporting incidents, consequences for perpetrators, and support systems for victims. It should also involve regular training sessions for staff members on how to spot signs of bullying and how to intervene effectively.
