Implement a 30-30-31 Day Calendar Reform

The Issue

The current calendar system has always felt out of sync. With months ranging from 28 to 31 days, it's inconsistent and confusing. I have always believed that our way of measuring time should reflect a more natural order and be easier to navigate. This discrepancy can be particularly frustrating for planning and scheduling, not to mention that transitions between months often feel arbitrary and can disrupt the flow of our daily lives.

A new calendar structure featuring a 30-30-31 day count for each month within every season could provide much-needed clarity and regularity. Imagine beginning the year on April 1st, with clear demarcations for each season. April marks the start of Spring, followed by May as Mid Spring, and June as Late Spring. This pattern continues into summer with July, August, and September(which was originally 31 days but Augustus reduces it to 30 while July and August was 30 then 31) acting as our Summer, Mid Summer, and Late Summer months

Our proposed Fall season consists of October(which was originally 30 days), November(which went from 31 to 30), and December(which was added 1 to make 31 so its on track for its days) which are fall, Mid fall and late fall, followed by Winter represented by January, February, and March as Winter, Mid Winter, and Late Winter respectively. To balance out our new calendar, February would now contain 30 days like it originally did and remove any need of leap years. A perfect 364 days like it was before Augustus and Caesar the original calendar

This reformation offers a more consistent framework to celebrate the passing of time. Each season would have a predictable duration, making it easier for agricultural planning, holiday setting, and aligning with natural phenomena. Not only does it make logical sense, but it can also lead to a more harmonious lifestyle, tuned with nature's cycles.

Help support this initiative to pursue a more accurate and intuitive calendar system. Let's embrace a clearer, more structured method of defining our time. Sign the petition to urge the necessary bodies to consider this vital reform and transition us to the 30-30-31 calendar model.
