We, the residents of 321 East 69th Street, have been victims of continuous package thefts over the past few months. Our hard-earned money is being stolen right from under us, with no sign of it stopping. This issue has become personal for all of us as we are losing valuable items and large sums of money due to these relentless thefts.

The lack of security measures in our package/mail room has made it an easy target for thieves. It's time we put a stop to this by demanding that management installs cameras in the package/mail room for 24/7 surveillance.

According to a report by C+R Research, 36% of Americans have reported having a package stolen at least once. In urban areas like New York City, this percentage is likely even higher due to increased population density (C+R Research). The installation of surveillance cameras can act as a deterrent and help catch those responsible for these crimes.

We urge management not only to consider our financial losses but also the sense of insecurity that permeates our community due to these ongoing thefts. By implementing round-the-clock surveillance in our mail/package room, we can restore trust and safety within our building.
