Petition for Immediate Investigation and Accountability of Mayor Mamdani
As a resident of New York City, I am calling for urgent scrutiny and accountability regarding the actions, rhetoric, and policy positions of Mayor Mamdani. The pattern that has emerged is not merely concerning—it signals a governing approach that risks undermining the constitutional principles, civic trust, and equal protections that define our city and our country.

At the core of this concern are reported proposals and statements that suggest government policy could be shaped along racial lines. Any effort—real or implied—to impose different treatment, burdens, or benefits on individuals based on race or skin color is a direct affront to the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. These are not abstract ideals; they are binding legal and moral commitments. A mayor who appears willing to erode them raises serious questions about fitness for office.
