Javier would like to again thank everyone for the support, support which NO doubt helped us finally get what we have always wanted - his day in Court. His court case is progressing well, and we look forward to him having the chance to finally be able to seek his permanent residence here in the USA.
Javier and I would like to share a similar petition of a man who is married to a US citizen with 2 young US citizen children together. They have a 3rd child on the way, & his US citizen wife really needs her husband freed from ICE detention as she goes through a very complicated difficult pregnancy. She filed a marriage petition for him (approved), an I-212 waiver of his deportation order (approved), and a waiver for his time in the USA without status which has been pending for 2 years now, and should be approved ANY day now. Yet, despite having NO criminal record and the Biden Administration policy of not wanting to deport someone like Milton, he is in ICE custody and facing imminent deportation/removal. It makes NO sense.
PLEASE sign & share this petition. Contact DHS/ICE. All the info is in the link to the petition below. DHS/ICE should follow their own memos and directives on priorities for deportation, and not separate this man from his family for 3 weeks in jail now, never mind deport him from the United States. We have been successfully moving his case forward for 3 years now. Unfortunately, this is the amount of time it takes to have 3 different petitions approved by USDHS. But, this is not Milton's fault, and there is NOTHING to gain from the deportation of this young man.
