Hello everyone. I have received the news that some time last week, Idaho governor Brad Little has signed bill (SB)1211 - the bill that will hire private contractors to kill 90% or more of Idaho's wolves with traps, snares, ATVs, and more - into law. The bill is expected to go into effect in the coming months.

This is beyond tragic. Governor Brad Little has ignored and denied the voices of science, reason, and compassion. He has ignored the over 50,000 people calling for the veto of this bill. Interestingly enough, governor Brad Little's family are sheep ranchers. I'm sure there is no connection, though... (sarcasm)

What now? Well, I will modify the description of this petition to make its purpose to show support for the Humane Society of the United States, and the Idaho Fish and Game Commission, who among others are vocally outspoken against this bill and the actions of the Idaho State House and are actively seeking to have it revoked. This petition is not useless. The more awareness we raise, and the more we let these monsters in the State Houses know we are watching them and do not approve, the better our chances are of helping secure protections for these wolves before they can be senselessly murdered in the hundreds. 

We can't and we won't give up now. These corrupt politicians can only ignore the voices of reason, science, and public opinion for so long.
