I will die without a new kidney - please fix our organ donation system

The issue

I urgently need a life saving kidney transplant - but unless the government fixes our failing organ donation system, I will die on dialysis.

My current kidney is failing and, with the current system, my chances of survival are minimal. This is terrifying for me and for my family. I am not ready to leave my precious family, friends and work I do in Community Services. Dialysis does NOT provide a quality of life. I know, because I spent 10 years hooked up to a machine.

We MUST fix Australia's broken transplant system!

There has to be a way to improve the current system in order to save the lives of Australians - including mine.

Health Minister Sussan Ley, there are THOUSANDS of Australians like me waiting for donors. PLEASE HELP CHANGE THE CURRENT SYSTEM SO THAT WE CAN LIVE. I do not want to die.
