I'm Ready to be done with i-ready

I'm Ready to be done with i-ready
The Issue
i-Ready. You can love it, you can hate it. Most students dislike i-Ready and here are the reasons why.
- When you get a question wrong, i-Ready takes you on a fun little 3 minute trip on explaining what to do. But most of the time it is a misclick, or simply a little adding mistake. Students usually get the new answer right after they get the question wrong.
- i-Ready is a big chunk of time that is wasted. Some Students are working on i-Ready lessons that they just went over in class and don't need more assistance, and the lessons become boring and slow paced.
- i-Ready is boring. Boring is a nice way it put it. The math lessons are boring and the ELA lessons are boring. The math lessons have no fun at all and take forever to complete. The ELA lessons are all boring with terrible plot and boring stories.
- i-Ready has levels. One is the Introduction and the other is the Quiz. Both are horrible. The Introduction takes forever and sometimes makes no sense. The Quiz is just as bad. If you mess up or misclick, that could affect you completing the lesson. And if you fail that lesson you have to complete it again, and now it is even more boring.
Look at this graph.
Look at all of the kids who said yes. And the look at the kids that said no. Big difference is there?
84.4 said no, while 15.6 said yes. BIG difference is very much there.
Here is a quick story to tell. Click on this link and look at all of these minutes ripped away from my very own life. Some of my minutes.
Remember, until it is possibly changed, you still have to do i-Ready lessons.
Our 1 st amendment right, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
