Petition updateHyundai USA: Release Apple CarPlay for 2015/2016 Hyundai Sonata (at no charge)709 days

With seven days left in the first quarter of 2016, Hyundai has been silent on CarPlay for the 2015 (and 2016) Sonatas. I have repeatedly reached out to Hyundai with no response after their initial outreach. I am especially disappointed that they seem not to care about customer loyalty. I cannot, in good faith, recommend Hyundai to any friends or family after this ordeal. Every major car manufacturer (except Chrysler) has a vehicle ON THE ROAD that can run CarPlay. Yes, Hyundai has the new Elantra that comes with CarPlay, but customers shouldn't have to downsize in order to get a feature, especially one that was promised 709 days ago. To top it all off, the Android Auto update was free, yet they want to charge for the CarPlay update? They claim that you are paying for the storage media (SD Card) and not the update, but I bet the SD Card will cost over $100.
Bad news about brands travels fast in this digital age, so let’s spread the word about Hyundai’s disregard to customer service. I appreciate everyone’s support on this issue and let’s continue to share this petition.
