Hydro-Fi Gambia

The Issue

                                             The Hydro-Fi Gambia Initiative.

                                                                       (HGI)

                                                  Energy + Education = Growth

Salam, my name is Teslim Deen. I am a 23-year-old Gambian American college undergrad student at the University of South Florida. I opened the Hydro-Fi Gambia petition movement in hopes of becoming more proactive with myself in turning The Gambia ( West Africa) into a more energy-efficient country for the sake of future generations. By signing this petition you will be expanding the solar community within The Gambia in which the Green African awakening will take place.

What will be the outcome of this petition?

The 5 Pillars of the HGI Initiative.

  1. More investments in solar energy in The Gambia and the opening up of the Gambian solar industry to young entrepreneurs to succeed.
  2.  Investments in hydro-solar Micro-grid systems = Independent electrical grids = Changing the way rural populations in The Gambia access clean energy.
  3. No more rampant Black-outs in The Gambia.
  4. Reverse the African-Arab migrant backway crisis to continental Europe.
  5. If successful the Hydro-fi Initiative will have the opportunity to reverse the environmental condition in The Gambia turning it into an eco-green-driven society Insha'Allah.
