Southern California has been the location of many unsafe mass faith-based gatherings. These gatherings must be made safer and stopped from relocating to San Diego. 

Faith-based organizations are NOT exempt from enforcement of the California mask mandate! USE YOUR VOICE and email city council members here!

Led by an organization called Saturate OC, these events involve the gathering of thousands of people on Friday evenings around Orange County and now San Diego. Photos and videos of most Saturate OC events show hardly a mask in sight and no social distancing.

As California continues its battle against the spread of COVID-19, the Saturate OC events are unsafe for the Huntington Beach community and greater Orange County area.

It is extremely important that the Saturate OC leadership is required to change their programming to adhere to the California state requirement of masks and social distancing at all times.  

Their events have already been deemed unsafe and in violation of state and county public health protocols in Huntington Beach, CA. 

Every single California resident, business, and organization has a responsibility to help slow the spread of coronavirus. 

Now is not the time to gather. If Saturate OC must host mass gatherings, they must follow California public health guidelines. 

Saturate OC plans to host an event in San Diego on August 28, 2020. 

Sign this petition to demand that the City Councils of San Diego County and Saturate OC enforce the proper safety requirements of masks and social distancing at all events. Otherwise, their events should be cancelled, postponed, or hosted virtually.
