Dear Extraterrestrials,

The Humans of Earth have heard that you are here and have been collaborating with humanity in secret to better understand the Universe. Yet, out of consideration for humans and not wanting to cause mass hysteria, have found it prudent not to announce your presence except for to a select few.

We, the humans of the world would like to thank you, and also to let you know, we are ready to meet you. We've been curious about meeting other intelligent species, and would be grateful if, when it's convenient for you, if you would make official contact with us. 

We mean no harm, and we'd love to greet you with the best party Earth has to offer. We're a multicultural civilization, and we'd gladly accept the opportunity to learn more about your culture and to share ours in a more formal way. 

We've heard the Aliens may have been waiting for some sign that humans are ready to meet them, and so we the humans are sending up this signal that we are both ready to create a friendship with you and have the best treats Earth has to offer for you when that day comes.  We're known to throw an excellent party, and trust us, everyone needs one after this year.

We hope you're doing well. 2020 has been a difficult year for many, and since we haven't yet had the chance to meet you, we've not been able to check in. But we genuinely hope it's been better for you than us.

So, are you coming to the party? The Earthlings of the world are free any time in late January, February is also good for us. How would February 17th be for you?  Meeting place, Earth. Time: 9AM EST (This time is good for many time zones throughout the world).  

Also, we'd love to invite the other species that populate the planet, as this will be an event not just for you and for humanity, but for everything that lives here.
