Addressed to Members of the Parliament of Australia, Members of the Parliament of Western Australia, and other relevant elected representatives.

We, the undersigned citizens and residents of Australia, call upon our elected representatives to support the humane, transparent and evidence-based management of Australia's wild brumbies and other wildlife.

We recognise the importance of protecting Australia's unique environment and acknowledge that wildlife population management may be necessary in some circumstances. However, we believe conservation objectives should be achieved through methods that minimise animal suffering, are scientifically supported, and maintain public confidence through transparency and accountability.

We are concerned about the continued use of aerial shooting and other wildlife management practices where there are concerns about animal welfare outcomes.

We respectfully ask our elected representatives to:

1. Advocate for humane, evidence-based wildlife management practices across Australia.
2. Support independent scientific review of current wild horse and large feral herbivore management programs.
3. Promote investment in practical alternatives, including fertility control, relocation, rehoming where appropriate, and other scientifically supported management methods.
4. Encourage greater transparency, public consultation and accountability in wildlife management decisions.
5. Work collaboratively with governments, scientists, Traditional Owners, animal welfare organisations and local communities to develop balanced long-term management solutions.
