We appeal to the kind global citizens out there to PLEASE help us to make our voices heard against the rampant media and police persecution of two female Hindu ascetics (monks) in Gujarat India.

Ma Nithyanandita(19) and Ma Tattvapriya Ananda(21) are Sanyasins(ascetics) of the Nithyananda order - and that is seemingly the ONLY reason why they are being dragged into court cases and rampant media smear campaign of their Hindu ascetic way of living.

These young female monks, with permission & blessings from their family, had decided to lead their life as Hindu ascetics and follow a simple Hindu lifestyle under the spiritual guidance of their Guru. But their life of non-violence was disrupted when the Police, assisted by the media barged into their ashram (monastery) in Gujarat India, multiple times from early November.

Listed below are the gory details of this horrendous torture which is going on till date:-

1) The Yogini Sarvajnapeetham Ashram Gujarat, which was raided by the policemen multiple times WITHOUT any formal complaints/warrants, is inhabited by Hindu female ascetics/monks and minor children of the Gurukul ONLY.

2) On their fifth visit the Police went on to charge the ashram coordinators with Kidnapping of the two monks Ma Nithyanandita(19) and Ma Tattvapriya Ananda(21) and proceeded to interrogate/threaten the inmates of the ashram, including the underage kids/minors.

3) The ashram coordinators (another couple of young FEMALE MONKS) were arrested in the wee hours of morning, dragged through the ashram and taken into custody without giving them time to change into street clothes.

4) Police have repeatedly held and questioned MINOR (UNDERAGE) GIRLS WITHOUT CONSENT OR PRESENCE OF PARENTS about unrelated matters (on their faith and religion) without even once bothering to inquire about the allegedly "Kidnapped monks".

5) Police have shown the UNDERAGE GIRLS doctored, lewd pictures and videos,  trying to coerce them into making false statements. These children, who practice vegetarianism and eat only organic food have been force fed non-veg/non-organic food products. 6) Two women monks (ashram coordinators) are right now being held under police custody, denied bail and tortured under the false accusation of kidnapping Ma Nithyanandita and Ma Tattvapriya Ananda

Now comes the most horrendous bit.

7) Ma Nithyanandita(19) and Ma Tattvapriya Ananda(21) who are allegedly "kidnapped", have given multiple videotaped testimonies and video statements to the police and to the press, and on Facebook that they are safe and do not want to return to their father.

8) The allegedly kidnapped Ma Nithyanandita(19) and Ma Tattvapriya Ananda(21) clearly state in these videos that they are staying away from their biological parents because of family issues. The biological parents were trying to coerce these female monks into doing things they did-not want to. And the monks are of legal age to make their own decisions of staying away from abusive parents.

The joke doesn't stop here.

9) As and when the supposedly kidnapped monks - Ma Nithyanandita(19) and Ma Tattvapriya Ananda(21) - were releasing their multiple videos, hour long debates and widespread mud slinging went on in national channels across India.

10) Across two days at-least 300 hours of collective coverage and investigative journalism was telecast in the National channels in India about the alleged 'Kidnapping' and the atrocities happening in the ashram, while the media conveniently glossed over the video testimonies DIRECTLY sent to them by Ma Nithyanandita and Ma Tattvapriya Ananda.

11) After hours of debates, National channel-heads proposed the best solution - to arrest Swami Nithyananada! The Gurumahasannidhanam of the Sarvajnapeetham (the spiritual head of the ashram) who is not in India and not a part of the day-to-day functioning of the Ashram. It was only then that the entire drama was clear to the practicing Hindus. The kidnapping-farce, the raids on the ashram, police-brutality on the Female HINDU monks were all premeditated media attack for the allegations to be put on Swami Nithyananda.

12) Swami Nithyananda is the most hunted, harassed and hounded Hindu spiritual leader to live in our times. He is the Spiritual head and Pontiff of many Hindu temples across Sampradayas. Reviving the Vedic Hindu culture has put Swamiji in the cross-hairs of Hindu-phobic majority and media in India. Multiple scandals and allegations were started and fanned by the paid-media across the years from 2008.
