The Coney Island area is greatly changing with over 45 stores coming to the area, more than 3,000 new luxury apartments being built and the newly announced water taxi coming in 2021 to cut the commute to the city in half.

The South Brooklyn shoppers are tired of taking a car, train, taxi or bus to other neighborhood's Trader Joe's locations.

A Trader Joes would be an ideal grocery store for the area to dominate the quality food scene which a lot of the locals within a 5-mile radius would greatly appreciate.
