To all my current (and future) supporters:
We have come a long way since the beginning of this fight until now. Thank you so much for your valued support. I will fight until I can declare a TRUE victory, meaning that I will NOT stop unless Merck withdraws it permanently. This is not to "prove a point", but because I am a passionate dog lover.
Since my previous update on 21 June 2016, membership of the group "Does Bravecto Kill dogs?" has increased from 13720 to 16274. That is a growth of 1554 members in just 11 days!
During those 11 days petition support has increased from just below 5000 signatures to nearly 7000! Thank you all for making your voices heard!
To me, it makes no sense whatsoever to allow so many precious furry friends to suffer, and if it's the last thing I do, this drug will be recalled. Before that happens, I will NOT declare a victory. The only victory is a victory that can be seen by ALL victims as a TRUE victory.
Here is a link to a post by Susana Wahs on the Facebook group "Does Bravecto Kill Dogs?", containing an updated list of countries in which reports about adverse reactions were filed, accompanied by the number of adverse reactions reported in each country.

Please note: these numbers are most likely heavily understated since the FDA estimates that approximately 1% of all side effects on drugs are actually reported. In my opinion, reasons for this tendency usually include the fact that not many people know that they can report the reactions and if they do know, they do not know how to go about it. Should you need help in reporting any reaction to Bravecto, including the death of your furkid, please visit the Facebook group "Does Bravecto Kill Dogs?". Follow the link provided below, and we will help you with pleasure to file your report: https://www.facebook.com/groups/411371212394679/
My focus is specifically on dog breeders this time, since Merck states on their package inserts globally that this product can be safely administered to pregnant and lactating bitches. In my opinion, that is not the case at all. In fact, in my opinion the claim they make here is dishonest, since there were numerous adverse reactions in new born puppies during the test that was run on a number of dogs to determine whether Bravecto can be safely administered to dogs as a tick and flea treatment.
Here is a link to a post by Susan Wolfe on the Facebook group "Does Bravecto Kill dogs?" Please follow the link, read the contents, and then decide whether you would take a chance administering this drug to your bitch and her precious expected litter. I used to breed German Shepherd Dogs during the 1980s & 1990s, and I know for certain that I would NOT have taken the chance with even ONE of my litters: https://www.facebook.com/groups/411371212394679/permalink/469873449877788/

Until next time, take care!
