Preserve the farm from being taken by the DOT for building a connector highway between Hwy 31 bypass to US 17. Public meetings are scheduled for Dec 3 and Dec 4. There are many routes proposed but most of them go right through the farm. One turns the opposite direction and is the shortest distance. This route misses us altogether. We are simply trying to do all we can to persuade them to go away from the farm or at least stay on the eastern side. Sam and his family have opened their land to the Grand Strand Running Club and Wilmington Road Runner Club for over 6 years, for The Battle at the Border. As much as we want to continue this tradition, this petition is more about saving the farm and supporting the Bellamy family. Let's all do our part GSRC strong!
