Include Judo as a core sport in the Commonwealth Games.

Having been involved as a volunteer at Glasgow 2014 I have seen first hand how much judo means, not only to the athletes but also to the volunteers and the spectators. A great deal of spectators were completely new to the sport and have never seen judo up close before. Judo is played in more countries than almost any other sport in the world and in Glasgow 2014 nearly half the countries that participated tooik away medals and provided some of the most exciting moments of the games. I myself have only been doing judo for a few years but I have seen how passionate people are about the sport, from young children to people of a mature age and have seen how it can have a positive influence on peoples lives. If it wasn't for judo I would never have changed the direction of my life and decided to go to University as a mature student.
I ask everyone to sign this petition to help bring this sport that I and so many people across the world love so much, to each and every Commonwealth Games.
Thank you for taking the time to sign the petition and lets help propel this great sport.
