Petition updateHoward Webb: Hand In Your Resignation With Immediate EffectMy Notes on Michael Oliver: Wolves v Arsenal

Michael Oliver's officiating has been below standard that you would expect in the Premier League. Including his performance when Wolves hosted Arsenal. Having sent an Arsenal player off for a challenge. In the second half. Every decision, went Arsenal's way. He then sent Jao Gomes off, for something which didn't warrant a second yellow.

I think giving the red card to Arsenal was a disguise to more micromangement and infringement on Wolves. It was a Red Herring, to make it seem like the FA were being balanced.

In the second half, Michael Oliver bowed to Arsenal's wishes, and demands. And played into Arsenal's diving, and time wasting.

When Arsenal surrouned the ref. I think maybe more yellow cards, should have been produced then. Arsenal got away with kicking the ball away. Yet Jao Gomes didn't. I hope J.Gomes, appeals this decision. As this is more bad officiating. Plus Arsenal's goal was offside. Plus no VAR check. I will make notes on who was on VAR duty that day, and all of the officials, and write it all up. My post match report is Michael Oliver failed to officiate the game fairly and equally. And favoured Arsenal deliberately. And the red card towards Arsenal was a disguise to more scrutiny against Wolves.

On an even playing field. Wolves would have won that game, and Michael Oliver should be investigated for bad officiating. I am sure Arsenal fans would agree with me also. The red that he gave to their player. Apparently, it wasn't a red, it was very harsh. So, that needs looking into also. Difficult listening to a game, when the ref isn't managing it well.
