Yeah, so I did post an update. And deleted it, but I am writing it again. The Chelsea, goal, the first one. That was offside. There was no way their player was in an onside position.
When will the FA start to officiate games fairly, and all of the things I said before. About, apologies, and don't criticise them publicaly. I have changed my mind, I think we have to put them under scrutiny. Because it's just, look, Wolves are in a relegation scrap right now. And it doesn't help. When VAR, just bends over backwards to help the top teams. And we never get any of the decisions. The standard of reffing in this division is shocking.
I have suggested, that they bring more refs in, but some people have said, get them trained up is difficult. Why can't we just get more refs, or get some refs, who ref the Europa games. And the refs from Europe. Who seem more professional. Because at the moment.
Refs, for me, should be professional. For the past twenty years, we had Mike Dean, with him trying to run the show, and get in the spotlight. And I think these refs make controversial decisions to get in the spotlight. And when they get called out, they get defensive.
Honestly, lads, chant what you want, criticise them publically. I really couldn't care anymore. I am going to write down, notes, on how these refs are behaving. Because to be honest.
The PGMOL have been giving not even bad decisions against us. But if you look at the FA Rules. 'You can't be offside from a corner'. Then why was the goal, that we scored against Liverpool chalked off. It's because the game appears to be rigged, where the top teams. Get all of the decisions. And they were quite happy to give Bournemouth a hat trick of penalties, weren't they. Where are our penalties? We get nothing. Every single game, and I know it isn't the PGMOL's fault we lost games. Yet the decision, to award, what ever his name was. The goal. For the first Chelsea goal. He was yards offside. Doesn't make any difference wether it took a flick off Cunha. And I wish these pundits, Sky Sports, all of these pundits. Who have direct access to VAR/Stockley Park, who ask them to award decisions against Wolves. It has to stop.
When you ref a game, you have to be objective. Yet this unconscious bias I think that Gary O'Neil mentioned, before he got fired. I think it exists you know. Subconsciously, they just don't want to give decisions in Wolves favour. It has to stop, yet it carries on. We have had no penalties awarded to us this season. I don't think it's a fact we have 'complained a lot'. I think we are too nice as a club and as a team. And we just let these refs walk all over us, and think they can control us. And make silly decisions. Against us. It has to end. The list, of decisions against us is countless. The Toisin goal, or whoever he was. Chelsea. Yards offside. Rule 11, of the Offside book says. If you are inteferring with play, which Toisin was, if you are in an offside position. Which he was. Then it's offside. It's irrelevant wether it took a nick of Cunha. You are only playing someone offside, if you deliberately pass to the player. And you change the projectory of the ball. The projectory of the ball would have ended up in Toisin direction anyway. So it's offside. VAR giving us bad decisions all day long. Fed up of it. Feel free to boo, and complain all you want. I would rather that, than suck up to an organisation, who does nothing to help us, and just throws us underneath the bus.
Howard Webb, from my perspective, and from some of my friends up in Wolverhampton. His position is untennable, every promise he made about transparency and fairness. Has gone out the window. No accountability with this guy. Either get the refs sorted, or maybe hire someone else to take charge.
If it wasn't for VAR, that goal was offside. Even with VAR, the goal is offside. VAR is not helping the game. Yeah and I know I spelt his name wrong. I don't follow Chelsea. I don't know the geezer personally. Toisin or whatever his name is. Goal shouldn't have stood.
