Morning Fellow Petitioners,

Well we did it, we surpassed 100 Petitions.

One of the most common questions is, what do hope to accomplish overall?

Pause the Project with the Sole Purpose to claw back from $16.6Mil to the Referendum price tag of $14.6Mil. Which was ratified by Ratepayers less than 10 months ago.

The How - Public Tender the complete Water Treatment Plant on a Design/Build Fix Cost Budget of $14.6Mil or less. Will the Engineering Firms come forward and Bid on this basis? We have one suitor so far. Of course the current Engineering Firm who has done their design, would most likely refresh their design and submit a Bid. 

In my opinion it’s time for the NSSWD as a Team to roll up our sleeves and take serious look at getting back on track to the Referendum Budget. Can it be done? I honestly believe it can and competitive Bid’s are the answer in our opinion.
