The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is a fundamental event that attracts many agriculture science students, as well as ordinary citizens annually. With the chaotic and exaggerated outbreak of the corona virus, Houston City officials have decided to close the event. This is a drastic decision for many livestock exhibitors, such as myself, that have spent thousands of dollars raising livestock to compete at the livestock show. This is my senior year, as well as plenty others, and this was our last chance to try and win this show. You could only imagine how much of a heartbreak this is to us. We have spent so much time and money, and are left with no where to take our livestock. Please help sign this petition to allow us to show our livestock, for the final time, and bring this livestock show, and possibly the entire rodeo, back! We need all of the support we can possibly get!!!
