I had an interesting coffee meeting with a man and his lovely partner this morning to discuss what we can do with this petition and other areas of concern. While this petition is reaching 200,000 signatures, how much further can it go? Minor parties and independents all used this petition to gain votes at the time of the Federal election, however they have now been in there since July and yet this petition is still being ignored. Also other areas that were election promises are still areas of concern. This is were WE, the people, need to band together to enforce changes that we wish to see to reflect the future that we envisage for Australia. It seems that once someone gets elected they forget all the words they spoke to gain votes. Are you happy with how our systems are working? Do you believe that our elected representatives are representing us the way we want to be represented? So, many systems are broken. Family Law Court, Family Services, Children Services, Legal System, Heath System, Education System. ALL THESE SYSTEMS ARE BROKEN. We need a new way of doing things. I had a meeting with Peter Forde this morning and I came away very excited. This man has a vision. We have so many patriot groups, minor parties, causes that all want a slice of the pie, however nothing ever changes. We need to put aside our individual agendas and come together with a set of agreements that all of us contribute to. We have had no big sucess with representing our individual causes. We need to get BIG, we need to join together. We need to find common ground from where we can ALL stand, make our voices heard and make CHANGES that represent US. Peter Forde is wanting to *form a movement* (my words) that the government cannot ignore. Because I got so excited about this petition, when it reached 88,000 signatures and was talked about in The Sydney Morning Hearld and I got interviewed by ABC Brisbane radio, and then NOTHING. No more media interest and while the numbers here keep clicking over and the politicians who got voted in citing this petition and yet none have mentioned this since, WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. We need to join together. Peter seems to have a different way that could bring us the change that we want, only we have to DEMAND it.
