We need reform and accountability in Guardianship in our Probate Courts.  This is a National issue and needs immediate attention.  Our most vulnerable are being affected by people that care more about their making money off of these people versus helping them.  Our Parents and Grandparents have worked their entire lives to enjoy their golden years and have peace of mind and security through the balance of their lives, yet that is stripped away.  The movie just came out "I Care A Lot".  If you have not seen it I suggest that you watch it.  Amazon Prime has a documentary "The Guardian".  There are also documentaries that depict what is going on and has been for years and is getting worse.  There are high profile cases like CA Brittany Spears.  There is also Casey Kasem and the Lily family.  We are asking for a call to action that you sign this petition and that you write your local representatives.  There should be advocates available to our loved ones before this horrible process starts.  The courts call them the "ward".  We have advocates with Domestic Violence or crimes of Violence, but why not these victims.  This is a National health crisis.  People are dying and are left alone and without the comfort of their family and loved ones and it has to STOP.
