Ever since the pandemic. NHS students have had a lack of support financially and mentally. I was a first year student who was on placement in the hospital when the outbreak occurred. We had little knowledge or training. Due to the pandemic our studies was highly affected and we are expected to pay tuition fees for a course that we couldn't engage in. As a second year student now, our teaching has been moved online. This has been a harrowing situation for myself and a number of students. We have lost fellow students due to being on placement throughout the pandemic as we was either on placement or working as HCA's to help with the overload of patients. We believe we should be reimbursed fully for our tuition fees or have a discount as we are faced with a great distribution to our learning. We are the future and will continue to uphold the responsibility of the NHS in the future.
