Problem: Politicians contest elections representing a particular party and after winning the elections they have the liberty to change or move to another party.There are two main issues because of this.

First issue is that the people who voted for the party ideology are betrayed. The people not vote just for the individual, they vote for party's ideology and their policies.

Secondly, when there is a no single party majority situation for forming their government, there is poaching of elected members from opposite parties which also brings in bribing or horse trading into the foray.

Once a member is elected representing any party the member should not be allowed to move or officially represent any other party until his tenure for the elected position finishes. Such members who move from one party to another clearly tells that they have no respect for the party policies and ideology and they also have no respect for the intellect of the people who vote and bring the member into power. Any change or movement can be made before the elections.
