Imagine being bred and raised solely for a singular purpose, and when you fail to meet expectations, you're discarded like a piece of worn out equipment. This is the grim reality for many racehorses. They are introduced into a world of intensity and demand, but when they don't measure up perhaps due to not being fast enough or sustaining injuries - they are often deemed useless and thus cast aside. This heart wrenching cycle leaves countless horses neglected, malnourished, and without a home.

 Animals give us everything they have without asking for much in return. My heart aches at the fact that these majestic creatures can't voice their pain and distress. They can't say when they're hurting or when they're too tired to keep going. That's why it's crucial for us, as compassionate individuals, to stand up for them, to give them the voice they inherently lack.

Governments and racehorse organizations should be prompted to enforce stricter regulations on breeding, there are far too many horses being bred and not enough homes for these horses, ensure adequate aftercare for retired horses. Together, we can work to elevate the standards of how these magnificent animals are treated and foster an environment where they are respected and loved. No horse should end up in the sale yards, or sold for dog meat.
