Hornby announced in April 2018 that they are ending their Licence to make and sell Thomas products at the end of 2018 due to changing trends and toy age restrictions, however I do not believe this at all as I've spoken to several Hornby retailers and they said that the company that owns the right to Thomas & Friends wanted too much money for the Licence for Hornby to make them. Also I believe that Hornby have the potential to make new Thomas & Friends characters in the future, as they haven't done that since 2012 and it's time that they should. Also Hornby are the only company in the UK that make Thomas characters for model railways in 00/H0 gauge. Please help sign this petition to get Hornby to continue making their Thomas & Friends range and an agreement between the company and the rightholders of Thomas & Friends to do the following:

1. Gullaine/Hit Entertainment/Mattel to offer Hornby a fairer price for the Licence to make Thomas products.
2. Hornby to update the faces on the engines and the look on the rolling stock as to how it is in the CGI series, unless the character has yet to make it through to the CGI switchover or are only a Railway series character.
3. Hornby to introduce new characters and buildings into the range.
