You all are awesome. The first 3 days I had 10 signatures. Today I received 16. The first goal is to force Congressman Kelly to at least address the issue. The final goal is to have Hope On Wheels realize Congressman Kelly is a hindrance to their worthy goal. It is unfortunate that they ignored my email about this over a month ago, but together we can and will make a difference. Kelly's office keeps saying his words were taken out of context even the video is always shown. My doctor found it very disturbing so if anyone has contacts with those in the medical community that is one main area to focus on. One of Congressman Kelly's member said he was trying to address how he was personally affected by cancer even though he never mentioned it during the debate. His staff does not see this as a big issue as is evidenced by their lack consistent messaging. It is up to us to make it an issue. Phone calls to his DC office will also help. Thank you all for your support. Congressman Kelly’s comments go beyond me. The cancer community stands strong together especially when it deals with children and Hope On Wheels specializes with pediatric cancer. They deserve better and we must be their true advocate.
