We, the residents of Waghbil, Thane, are compelled to raise our collective voice regarding the severe and persistent civic issues that have significantly impacted our quality of life.

For years, residents of Waghbil have placed their trust in elected representatives and civic authorities with the expectation that basic necessities and public services would be delivered efficiently. Unfortunately, the reality on the ground is far from the promises made during election campaigns.

Today, thousands of residents are struggling with:

• Acute and recurring water shortages
• Frequent electricity disruptions affecting daily life
• Encroachment and hawker menace leading to public inconvenience
• Severe traffic congestion and inadequate road infrastructure
• Lack of timely and effective response from responsible authorities

Among all these challenges, the ongoing water crisis has become unbearable. Water is not a luxury - it is a basic necessity. Families, senior citizens, children, and working professionals are forced to plan their lives around irregular and inadequate water supply. Residents continue to pay taxes and civic charges while receiving substandard essential services.

The people of Waghbil are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for what every citizen is entitled to :

• Reliable and adequate water supply.
• Timely maintenance and strengthening of power infrastructure.
• Effective action against illegal encroachments and unmanaged hawking.
• Road improvements and traffic management measures.
• Transparent communication and accountability from elected representatives and authorities.

We respectfully remind our elected leaders that the people of Waghbil voted with faith and optimism, believing the commitments made during election campaigns. Public trust is earned through action, not promises.

As responsible citizens, we seek cooperation - not confrontation. However, continued inaction will only deepen public disappointment and erode confidence in those entrusted with representing us.
