Honour all offer holders despite shambolic downgrading of A level results
The Issue
The four Children's Commissioners for England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland have issued a plea to all UK Universities to be highly flexible and honour all the offers of a place they have already made to domestic students. Hence, we have decided to update our petition to provide justice to all students who have been affected by the shambolic downgrading and algorithm and hence missed their offers that they deserved.

All medical students who have to go through entrance exams, volunteering and several interviews have been greatly disadvantaged by the algorithm's standardisation, resulting in missing their offers and not being able to go through clearing due to competitiveness of the course. We cannot deprive these students of their entry to pursue higher education and although the damage for this year has already been done the least that can be offered is a guaranteed place for next year for all current offer holders to honour their capability and hard work to have secured the offer in the first place. Meaning they won't be forced to sit through the UCAT, BMAT, Interviews and most importantly the Autumn exams again. If Oxford's Worcester College has been able to do that for their current offer holders the same principle should be applied for medical students if not possible for this year as seats are taken then at least ensure it for next year to give them some sense of justice, equality and fairness.
