UPDATE:

As it stands right now, The Pittsburgh City Council will vote, this upcoming Tuesday, June 7. This is the final step necessary to officially designate The Tito-Mecca-Zizza House (1818 Fifth Avenue and 1818 Colwell Street) as a City of Pittsburgh landmark.

We still have time to get more signatures - so please spread the word. I will submit the final tally to City Council on Monday morning, June 6. 

With regard to the upcoming vote, it has also come to my attention, if - and hopefully WHEN - designation is approved - the developer plans to then litigate the decision. Sadly, no surprise there.
