Friends of the Devbhaasha, Namaste. We stand at a crossroad today. The Ministry of Education requires that 12 students request for Sanskrit for a teacher to be provided. With 100 colleges this will mean at least 1200 requests. We are targeting 2 colleges per region instead. Here is where we need your support. To translate the intention into action, we need volunteers to take responsibility in the east west and centre of the island. The task is simple: round up 12-15 students entering grade 7, and have their parents sign a letter requesting them to have Sanskrit as a subject.
